Round pebbles are surprisingly rare, as @geomannie has noted... Here's a large and very spherical pebble (strictly a cobble 🤓 ) which I found a few years ago at Kilfinichen Bay on Mull. Not quite my roundest natural stone, but it gets bonus points for large size I think.

Another pic from yesterdays voyage (plus a few landings) around south Iona. There are at least three birds in this picture, lurking on the Lewisian gneiss. Can you find them? Answer this evening... 😎

😊 My stressful day has been improved by lovely thing arriving in the post today. It's a Nigerian 20-Naira note - I think the only currency in the world to feature a potter, the wonderful Lady Kwali. Other countries need to get their acts together, and do likewise! 😁 😊 🤩 @potterybyosa
