Lawbreakers was my favorite, high skill floor and ceiling games are my favorite. I wish ppl gave it a chance past its artstyle but matchmaking was rouh with barely anyone and the best players were insanely raw because of that high skill ceiling, high floor made it hard to catch up or feel good in early games I think.
Was a ton of fun, I played it daily til it shutdown, I love when multiplayer games have fun traversal mechanics, tho it leads to many quitting if they do terrible early on.
"So literally wrong on all three points. Perhaps you need to read more instead of doom scrolling and swapping nudes on your smartphone" This made me feel like I was on reddit not lemmy lmao
And ofc they have the dad get literally raped by a japanese clown on a game show, really shouldve ended at season 3. Kinda see why this show was never reccomended to me, if I tell anyone to watch it, I'll tell them to pretend it ends with delilah missing at the end of season 3 and thats a good thing. ...
The whole episode where he doesn't recognize his wife is insane, like the twin doesn't even change her behaviour to reflect the wife's, they go so on the nose with it to show how much of a homer simpson peter griffin idiot they've made him

I dont feel bad for rich kids they have entrely different realities, they grow up to be shitty adults, it doesnt matter that they are kids now, their future is set in stone, i swear billionaires dropped hella propoganda movies to get ppl to feel bad for their kids and expect them to grow up to be good ppl that change the world for the better if the public likes them, like that ever happens.
Like this kid wont be going to jail ever, no matter what they do, no punishment ever, yall could say thats a bad thing all you want but they experience heaven on earth for the only life we get, fk em, they get way more than they deserve since birth.
I would not have a good home or life in a meritocracy because im dumbaf, but id 100% rather have that where ppl earn there way and mfs that actually contribute to society are rewarded over this shit where we got modern royalty, all the power, none of the consequences, no visibilty, no responsibility.
wiki + ai search = discord except ppl are the ai remembering stuff said in the chat lol, reddit + google was once good, nowadays I click on the other results since the reddit reply is its already been answered use google
yep its horrible really should start suggesting discord servers move to lemmy, self host their own, a lot of them would be better off with a forum like structure, but lemmy isnt easily crawlable either, everyone hates being searchable
please help me, i want to post my art and some coding stuff i think some people might find interesting, but i don't want to flood or make it look like i'm spamming posts on a lemmy group!! and you can't post things on your profile. what other websites are there?? that are also fediverse? please. if not fediverse, then what other ...
I really want something like myspace for the fediverse, profiles that are customizable and can display videos, photos, 3d models, etc. would be peak. The fediverse needs more awareness and funding tho. So many non federsted platforms made to be turned to shit and sold to the highest bidder keep popping up. Like I keep getting ads for lore, no ones heard of the fediverse or lemmy, the platform the commenters are looking for already exists, they dont need to goto another mess that exists to sell their data and forcefeed them ads.
Discoverability, everyones following a common theme basically what myspace used to be, a personal site that reflects you that is easily searchable among other sites doing the same things for other ppl, a website can be anything, you know what a myspace page is, old internet was like this forsure, id stumble upon a lot of personal sites that were unique, not really anymore. Like the whole geocities, everyone has a wix/webs site era.
And even this it was pretty random, I just want a way to browse only personal sites and share mine, see different categories like art, sports, etc. What I thought the internet would be, not just corporations tryna sell me something.
Hey, I have a pc that I would like to install light Linux distribution on but I don’t want to do it because my computer has weak parts but because I want to save up on space and make pc focus so it could stream games that would be installed on it and then I could simply stream games from it instead of downloading them on ...
Linux uses less resources than windows by default, any is better performance and lighter, cachyos might be easier to tinker with, I got sunshine working on it fairly easy.
TikTok basically invented shorts. Maybe Snapchat. And everyone else’s sucks because their AI isn’t as good. It’s a toxic medium anyway. I with the Pixelfed creator would just focus on Pixelfed, I use that and it’s a total win, just needs some kinks worked out and more popularity.
Its simple, let ppl control it, algorthims are good when they dont favor controversy, which is what most platforms push to get ppl to stay on them, but they have sweetspots before the advertiser pleasing phase where they just try to max out dopmaine and you're able to close the app satisified.
I feel like it would be best to proxy YouTube, or subscribe to paid indie channels like nebula, but without a user base and without ad revenue or subscription revenue I don’t know how quality content can come to PeerTube. Maybe I’m just missing the content but when I’ve checked it’s all very low quality, just random ...
I think it has more potential for shorts, if they do that, shorts get hella compressed on tiktok, ig, etc. itd be nice to self host and deal with your own compression, and just pay to serve content how you want it.
Maybe blender animators, vfx makers, edm visuals, etc. those type of artists would benefit most from something like peertube, dont get much visibility in youtube and peertube could be a return to artists and less whatever contents become

idk im sick of ai rnow, everytime I start to like it a bit I get so many bugs that I end up doing 3x as much mental work as I wouldve if I has just learned it myself done it, at least 3x sometimes 20x becsuse in the end I do learn it myself and can see the difference in time lol
Just stubborn and really want it to work,, feels like it has the answer and im just asking the right question (because that is also true sometimes, a little bit more context and it works, im over it, its like a game, not a tool)

I think a lot of negative karma in a month leading to red names or something with it resetting every month would be fine, I just dont like the idea of one bad take silencing someone, or one meme elevating someone
Instead of tracking overall points track streaks, if they get a lot of unique downvotes often flag them.
most ppl suck and have nothing of value to say, just go on threads and scroll for a bit, better yet go through ig and tiktok comments, too much awareness would be bad and drown out voices you want to hear
Most free time, rich teens spending their parents money drive our trends probably , not even probably thats most influencers, like alix earle , its funny af that all the girls ik that repost eat the rich and shit follow her and taylor swift
Its ppl copying the content on each others servers and all hosting frontends/backends that serve the same content. The site is where your content is hosted, like if you upload a pic its to that instance and based on their upload rules for size. I think lemm.ee has like a 50mb limit while some have much higher limits. All of your posts/comments originate from your site and then get coppied to any site that hasnt blocked it and has communicated with it before. (Me subscribing to a lemmy.world community from my instance would count as communicating so they would federate and posts from that community and other communiteis on that instance would show up on mine in the future)
Like if you hosted a site that was an exact clone of mine that copied or linked content over everytime it was posted to match the other.
