@Vivaldi that looks like a spot on Death Stranding, AND the game was inspired by landscapes in Iceland, so that’s my guess.

@TechConnectify can’t seem to find any on Amazon.it so probably we call them something else, but: would one of those be a sensible alternative to a space heater for the bathroom? Turn it on, warm the place up and get some humidity out while showering?

    @Vivaldi I had to disable that on mobile, kept “stealing” tabs… not all features are for everyone :)

    I can't tell if Special K developer Kaldaien is okay or not. He just deleted his 20 year old Steam account which, presumably had thousands of dollars worth of games attached to it. Frankly, he can do whatever he wants, but his rationale seems a bit... suspect... ...

    @gbryant@subscribeto.me avatar gbryant the mention of subscriptions being a better value got a chuckle out of me, specifically Ubisoft. I like the Ubisoft style of open world games, and still consider their subscription a terrible value… for a while I had Game Pass, but I came to the realization that buying Forza Horizon full price on Steam would cost me less in the long run, as I really didn’t like other stuff offered. (And I switched to Linux, so that wasn’t going to work either way)

    @TechConnectify one thing I found odd was the portable power station stuff at the end: wouldn’t a power bank be a more common example? A 20 ampere one has about 73 wh of energy, a full blast Steam Deck needs 25w: that’s less than 3 hours worth of entertainment (IF full blast) during a long trip.

    @gbryant@subscribeto.me avatar gbryant I think I see the issue with the FX order: to me (not a user of photo editing software) it looked intuitively correct! You see it as the order of execution… but it’s how they’re stacked. The noise was on top of the blur in your example. It made sense to me. Still, they should see how the user base reacts and tailor it to them XD

    @Vivaldi I prefer dark mode, however on my laptop I use light mode as much as possible, at least in the evening/night… because it doesn’t have a backlight keyboard and I need to see the damn thing lol
