In France, they gave 300k condoms. That's 30x the amount they gave here. And they used them all in France, how long the fuck did they think those 10k would last?

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Seriously, with all the horrible tales of what happened in that island being discovered, how the absolute fuck is not the whole country of these monsters out for blood to murder these... these beasts just for the crimes that we already know they commited?

USA what the fuck is wrong with you?! With all of you? From the lowest guy to any general of the army that still has two balls? Or even one for that matter at this point. Are you really that indifferent to these atrocities?

It's getting really difficult to not hate all of you and wish for your extinction. Your society is made of monsters... Fuck.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

I find this kind of paintings terrifying, more than modern horror stuff like zombies and crap.

The kind of reality these paintings portray is scary and disturbing in ways that really make you be afraid of them. And I love every single one of them.

Also: yeah, I'd love a dinner like that.

I'm going to the gym, do some swimming for my back, then I'll take a sauna and a cold shower right after (love the hot-cold shock).

After that I'll get back home watch the winter olympics and forget (again) that today it's just a normal day that someone decided to turn into a pointless "holiday" to make me spend money.

It's going to be a pretty normal saturday tbf.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

I'm watching hockey, skeleton and jumps right now! HboMAX allows for multiview on the single screen so you can follow several sports together (with commentary on a single sport).

I'm also jumping on and off to curling, that has been a real surprise for me.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

The italian couple that played during the mixed doubles (they got bronze in the end) made me start following it. I knew the sport but I never found a reason or a moment to follow it. Now? Eh... I think I'm a fan!

I already knew ice hockey so I was already following the games at the olympics, but curling? Yeah, the biggest surprise.

However, I think this year, the winter olympics are getting way more attention than other years. Dunno why, but looks like it's the first time that people are really interested on them! And that's great! It always looked like the winter sports were just second-class disciplines.

Can anyone explain to someone who's not from there why is it a bad thing to require photo ID?

In my country, you don't have to register to vote. You need to register your residence (aka: where you live) and that gives you access to all the services of the area and also let's you vote assigning you an electoral area where you cast your ballot.

Still, when you are voting, you need to go there with your ID (which has always a photo) and it's checked before voting. Why in the US that's a problem so big? Why are they fearing this could be used to manipulate the elections?

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

This gives you a very extremely absurdly huge reason to ditch an usian tech and find a safer european alternative.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor OP ,

You don't understand. They are investigating this because of the children!

They probably think children watching this are going to become sluts too soon and so they won't be innocent and pure anymore for when they try to rape them!

Sigh I wish I were joking...

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor OP ,

Yeah, but how white are those twerking women compared to the pedophiles, huh?

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor OP ,

It... didn't go as well as they thought...

Which s funny, they said the counter-concert would be so big that nobody would watch El Super Tazon, yet looks to me that every single republican knows what happened in that show...

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor OP ,

No. They are fine if done to underage girls. They are wrong if done by non-white people.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Fake and gay.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

"This thing you're doing is VERY illegal! You better stop doing it or else!"

North Mexico nowadays.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Entirely dependant on skine whiteness.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

With extreme pain and suffering, if possible. Please and thank you.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

So unexpected! Who could have thought that making such an unique game would end like this?

I mean, this is a shooter where people choose a hero with an unique loadout and set of skills and battle with therr team against another team of these heroes.

We could call it... idk... Hero Shooter! I'm sure I haven't seen a game like this before!

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Republicans: Yeah, sure. But the idea is to make that happen when we're dead. If it happens.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

I'm confused, why does she say she's not my dream girl right before telling me how my dream girl is?

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Five? Wait... that is indeed weird. You are missing at least a couple!

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

That's only partially true.

Italy is right now third in the rank (second in medal numbers) and the mountains and cold winters are only partially true.

Spain shares the same climate, with arguably more mountains and land where the winters are really cold and they are lagging a lot in the rank, they sent something like 20 people or so to compete where Italy sent many more {something like 120 iirc).

It's not just having mountains and cold winters.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Spain has also Sierra Nevada, which is higher and also offers snow.

I agree on the infrastructure, but that makes my statement true because it's then a question of investing.

Still, many of the sports don't even require a mountain or a cold winter (see ice hockey, all kinds of skating, curling...) and yet, Spain has way less people there than Italy.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

So weird, right? Nobody would have expected that focusing on luxury EVs while the market was demanding AFFORDABLE EVs would have make you sink while the Chinese brands making those affordable EVs soar.

Why? Why did ignoring what the market was asking have consequences to my product?

Alpro had a dispute with their soy milk too in Italy.

In Italian, milk is "latte" (double t, important for the question).

They got said that they can't call the product "latte" because it is not milk as it doesn't come from an animal.

They created a new packaging with a huge writing saying: "Questo non è LATE" (with a single T). It could roughly be translated to English as "This is not MYLK" . They are still selling it because they are not selling milk.

Edit: apparently it's not just an Italian thing as they sell it in English as "not MLK"! Funny tho, I almost got the name right without knowing it!

I wish they did live happy, but seeing the world and how is it going I have strong doubts.

But I'm no blaming the kids for this. I'm blaming the parent thinking that an iPad is a great distraction to keep the kid busy and the rest of the society that has voted consistently to put in charge assholes who openly made education worse every time they could.

And yes, I do think that stupid iPad is to blame even though I grew up with a gameboy. My gameboy had games, it played tetris, it played mario or pokemon. My gameboy didn't have tiktok or youtube. It's not the same thing.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

No. The commercial internet is becoming a walled garden. It's up to us to use the alternatives. If we keep using the commercial internet, we are not only entering the walled garden on ourselves, we are also putting the chains in our feet.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

There are many possibilities with this info and right now, I'm not sure which one is worst because they all are extremely awful on their own.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

I'm not sure that is as harmless an option as you migh think.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

There are people who can't properly function without an llm. And it's not just a few, a good bunch of humans have decided to leave the reasoning skills to a chatbot so they don't have to do it.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

I think it's worse: it's laziness. It's easier to ask a machine so it does the job for you. And since it looks mostly ok, they keep doing it.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Usual shit "news" from a tabloid. Not new, not even enraging anymore. This is just low quality ragebait.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Not critizicing you or anything, just pointing out that this is a common sight from entitled tourists, especially British, because the ones behaving like that think of Spain as their personal beach.

We hate them for a reason; going to another country thinking the people there should live to serve you as if you were at home and not them is a powerful driver to make people hate you.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Entitled tourists are like that. Not all are like that, but British in Spain are the worst offenders because they tend to act like this. They think Spain is their personal beach so locals are just a bother for them because they... you know... live there.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Any.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

I'm so certain you will delete the id immediately after I send it that, after carefully considering it, I deemed it a waste of time: if you are deleting my ID immediately, the time spent on sending it is better used on something more useful, like taking a dump.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

If not being able to afford a house in my country is making me not to have children, what makes you think I'd go to another country in which I can't afford a house either to have children there?

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

There's something I'd like to point out tho: it's not a "strong sense of justice". Justice, for us autistic people is an emotion. You feel despair, you feel love, you feel joy... we also feel justice, injustice, fairness...

Yeah, we have some unusual emotions, and justice is one of them.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

There is evidence of it. This page explains it somewhat well: https://www.simplypsychology.org/autism-justice-sensitivity.html although it fails to address it with an autistic perspective as it says:

As a result, any perceived injustice (even minor ones) can trigger strong emotional reactions such as anger, anxiety, or sadness.

I disagree with this, i know what's anger, what's anxiety... injustice feels different to those.

I could search later for more sources, but talking to other autistic folks, I noticed that many of us have a wide array of emotions that either work differently, or are not present in neurotypical brains.

The most prevalent has always been justice and the reason we concur on it being an emotion is because it can manifest physical symptoms the same way as any other emotion.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Sometimes tho, the diagnosis is not about getting "fixed". It's about getting answers for your life. I got my diagnosis when I was in my 30s. It changed the way I see myself and the way I react to the world, but not because I'm not "fixed"; it changed it because now I know there is a reason for things being this way and I know how I work.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Mandatory reminder that being autistic is enterely compatible with being an evil asshole. They are not mutually exclusive.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

When they said they were going to get things back to the old times, they meant it literally. Can't wait for polio!

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Think of the Disney trip as a nostalgia trip: you get everything from the past, cartoons, princesses... and measles! All in one package!

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Hace cuatro horas, para mi eran las siete y veinte o por ahi. No puedes decir que soy un mentiroso! A diferencia de muchos, yo no miento ni en mi apodo!

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

I did! I rarely speak in spanish when I'm on the internet (unless it's with known people with whom I can safely use gendered language because I know them), but when I do, I tend to use it because it's easier than having to ask what your preferred gender is. It also makes it easier to spot the people I don't want to talk with because they will quickly get offended because woke.

The "@" is sometimes used because it's made of an "o" and an "a" making it somewhat both at the same time, but it presents a very obvious problem: how do you say it? Because we call that symbol "arroba" and saying "encantadarroba" sounds weird AF. Just switch the vowel for an "e" and be done with it. In italian there's the "schwa": ə" that serves the same function, it's harder to type because it's not usually found on keyboards, but whatever, if being inclusive and pissing bigots takes so little effort, I'm gonna try and use it as much as possible, even if it's still something that takes some effort to apply at times because of the interiorized grammar that you have to unlearn.

Edit: forgot to add, bigots get angry about it because you are "desecrating the sacred language" or shit like that. But you know how it is, they are the biggest snowflakes ever.

AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor ,

Good! Just hoping it gets worse so idiots using it "enjoy" more of the enshitification process.
