Best Easter Wishes, c.1910s - Postcard

Printed glazed colour postcard showing a view of some lily of the valley, tied with a pale blue ribbon with a pair of golden bells above and sending the recipient Best Easter Wishes, along with a short verse. Publisher not stated, Series No 3799, printed in Germany, c.1910. Postally used, stamp with cancellation removed, and sent to Miss May Honey, 25 Regina Road, Southall, Middlesex. Good condition, with slight corner bumps, but small knock to top middle of left side.

Wąska droga asfaltowa pnąca się do góry. Najpierw skręca lekko w prawo, potem mocniej w lewo i znika za drzewami.
Wąska, gruntowa droga przez las. Na ziemi leży sporo suchych liści dębu. Pomiędzy rzadkimi jeszcze liśćmi na drzewach prześwituje błękitne niebo.
Rower oparty o tablicę z napisem „Rezerwat przyrody Zielona Góra”. W tle las liściasty rosnący na bardzo pofałdowanym terenie.
Kwitnące w lesie białe kwiatki, każdy z dziesięcioma płatkami grupowanymi po dwa. To gwiazdnica wielkokwiatowa. Pomiędzy kwiatami widać suche liście.
Kępa kwitnącego zawilca gajowego. Każdy biały kwiat ma sześć białych płatków i wianek żółtych pręcików pośrodku.
Panorama doliny Noteci widziana ze wzgórza. Szeroka połać łąk przecinanych kępami drzew i krzewów pod błękitnym niebem z białymi chmurami. Po lewej widoczne zabudowania pobliskiej wsi. Przez środek przechodzi nasyp kolejowy.
Kwitnący na różowo krzew bzu (lilak pospolity). Część kwiatów w kwiatostanach jest jeszcze nierozwinięta.
Przydrożny krzyż otoczony metalowym ogrodzeniem. Przed nim rośnie nieduży krzak, na którego gałęziach wiszą kolorowe, plastikowe jajka. Za krzyżem las.
Zarośnięty bluszczem kwadrat ceglanych murów, wpuszczony w ziemię. To część piwniczna zniszczonego grobowca.
Jasnokremowy budynek pałacu na tle błękitnego nieba, widziany zza sporych klombów i roślinnych dekoracji znajdujących się przed nim. Przed wejściem, nieco po lewej, stoi maszt z biało-czerwoną flagą.
Most na rzece. Dwa niskie betonowe łuki połączone dwiema poprzeczkami przechodzącymi nad zniszczoną nawierzchnią.
Otoczona suchym sitowiem rzeka, skręcająca w lewą stronę. Powierzchnia wody jest zmarszczona przez wiatr. W oddali zalesione wzgórza, trochę bliżej linia energetyczna na wysokich słupach.
Widziany od tyłu rower szutrowy oparty pedałem o spore drzewo nad brzegiem niedużego jeziorka otoczonego lasem.
Nieduży krzak pigwowca japońskiego, a na jego kolczastych gałązkach czerwone kwiaty.

Text at the top says JESUS SCARES Two pictures, the first is of a cross that has the word "Jesus" written on the cross piece, and "Cares" written below it on the vertical piece, but that actually makes it say "Jesus Scares" due to the "cares" hitting below the middle "S" in Jesus. The 2nd is artwork depicting Jesus standing behind a woman (probs Mary Magdalene) who is crouched down in front of an open stone tomb. She is looking up over her shoulder at Jesus. The text bubble coming out of Jesus' mouth says "Boo, LOL" The text coming out of Mary's mouth says "Jesus, you scared the shit out of me!"
