On the white chalk cliffs on the coast of the island of Rügen in north-eastern Germany, a bare tree with many branches and small trunks protruding over the cliff towards the sea has formed many intertwined above-ground roots. But perhaps they are also tree trunks lying on the cliff, intertwined with each other. In the background, the turquoise Baltic Sea shines through the tangle and stretches to the bright sky on the horizon.
Black and white photo of a tree trunk with rough bark, angled upward, with a vine of leaves climbing its side. The leaves are in focus, showcasing their shape and texture. Bare branches are visible in the background.
A one-eyed #tree for #ThickTrunkTuesday who is angry that you didn't pay attention during his lesson on #resilience ... and who looks suspiciously like the slugs in the Best Fiends mobile game 😅
A tall, old tree with gnarled branches reaching towards a bright blue sky with scattered white clouds. The tree's thick trunk shows signs of age and decay, with a large hollowed-out section near the base revealing exposed, weathered wood. It stands in a grassy field, surrounded by a dense tangle of green and dry brown vegetation and smaller trees in the background. The overall impression is one of a resilient, ancient tree in a natural, overgrown landscape.
An intimate landscape photograph showing a coastal landscape covered with low-growing shrubs, some of them flowering. Between the shrubs, widely spaced, grow taller pine trees with round crowns. The entire scene is bathed in soft light from low sun filtered through coastal fog.
Yesterday I announced to my #instagram I was done. I'm leaving, and so in a week after I've given my followers time to reach out for my contact info I will be deleting the app.
#Mastodon and the #Fediverse have been such a breathe of fresh air when it comes to social media - thanks all of you people 👊
However, I've realized there are barriers to entry, so, I want to put together a blog for my photographer buds. A list of "best practices" 1/2 🧵
2/2 🧵the #Fediverse has it's own unspoken rules. I'm hoping others here can help me out together a proper list - in the context of photographers - that would be good to know whenever they do join.
