I use clear juice jugs and decorate them with aquarium fish save ornaments and adhesive. This happy blood parrot can feel secure while he floats in the clouds looking down on whats going on below.

We got her from a rescue. Unfortunately, while she was there, she caught calicivirus, which led to stomatitis. Her body thought her teeth were invaders. She couldn't eat because of the pain
The vet said they needed to remove all her teeth - but don't worry, cats don't need teeth

In the end, they removed all but the canines - and she has been fine. She eats happily now. And she eats a lot

My wife was concerned about the large lumps her beloved pet rat developed near the base of his tail. She wouldn't believe me and had to have the vet diagnose them as ordinary testicles. My fess is that despite reassuring her otherwise I still think this was a tiny bit stupid.
My rat Mopar rode on my shoulder; she got me out of a ticket; Pulled over on the way home from a friends (id been drinking) cop approached the car I heard him say, " the reason I pulled you ov...uh do you know there's a rat on your shoulder?'

Sage my adopted Bengal mix has done a few really remarkable things. I had a late night snack of crackers and cheese. I woke this am to him on the bed crinkling the empty package of cheese. I thought I put it back. Apparently not. (hes smart, but not open the fridge smart).
So bringing me the empty package was either, ha ha stole your cheese, or hey this is empty more please!
Sage my bengal mix approaching now his one year birthday. He was abused and terrified of me. He spent several days hiding coming only out to grab some food after I left the room. I think seeing his adopted sister be with me and some really good treats taught him to trust and now we are great friends. He is still seriously jumpy though.
A few days ago I had already gotten up and was in the bathroom when I heard the alarm on my phone go off. It gets louder the longer it rings. I went back to turn it off and it was really loud by that time. I see Sage and his sister sitting really close staring intently at my phone. They seemed to be annoyed at the noise, and as I approached Sage raised his paw and smacked the phone which then shut off. Satisfied, they high fived and went back to tackling each other.
These two crashing up and down the hall at dawn has replaced my blonde Siamese howling as my AM alarm
The fact that I don't work until noon is irrelevant.
#pets can be annoying but I wouldn't change a thing.
My tiger twins. Though not actually related Sage and his new sister Jewels were adopted last summer and instantly bonded. Someone in my area is breeding Bengals. I think it's awful people keep breeding animals that add to shelter overcrowding the less than perfect spawn but their markings are stunning. Deep black brown tiger zebra stripes green grey intense eyes. The boy has done some eerie smart behaviors.

Pax, our brown tabby cat with white markings, is lying in her bed. The bed is made from an unused plastic lid, turned upside down, with a self-warming pad inside for warmth and comfort. Pax looks like she is deep in thought. One hind leg is pulled up close to her body, while the other three legs are stretched out straight in front of her.

Emergency help needed ‼️🚨.
While at the vet, she was examined and the vet confirms that the leg can’t heal due to severe trauma and it will be removed (amputation).
The vet is to perform a surgical limb amputation under full anesthesia, so thats she feels no pain during the procedure.
