I consider myself a "progressive" #Democrat because #conservative has now been proven a complete lie for loyalist dupes to hide behind.
Having said that, I know from having US Government experience that the margins are not in favor of Democrats. Even if we manage to "shoot the moon" win in a final measure of the US electorate headed into the 2030s #census.

A federal officer shot & killed a person in #Minneapolis on Wednesday during an #immigration “enforcement” operation, #DHS said. The #shooting came as the #Trump admin intensified a crackdown on “illegal immigration” in #Minnesota.
The federal government’s description of the encounter could not immediately be verified independently. Rep #IlhanOmar, a #Democrat whose congressional district includes the shooting scene, described the person as a “legal observer.”
Hundreds of people gathered at the scene, chanting for #ICE agents to leave. The #shooting took place in a middle-class residential neighborhood in #Minneapolis, about a mile from the place where #GeorgeFloyd was killed by #police in 2020.
