If a photo takes a metric s***ton of processing, you probably won't be happy with the final result & so it is with this phone digiscope of Slender-billed Kite that I had to settle for because we were in the forest, with changing light, on horseback where I couldn't get to my real camera
A rather annoyed looking little kite sits on a mossy branch in a blurred-out green forest. The perky yellow eye, orange feet, and especially long decurved bill + the slate feathers with no visible white tells us that we have met the Slender-billed Kite. Darien, Panama. Just to follow up-- my original post seems a little grumbly but of course a mediocre photo of Slender-billed Kite is better than no photo of Slender-billed Kite 🤣
