goto social, it implements a mastodon api but is a lot more light weight and focused on smaller user base.

i switched to it right around the pleroma akkoma split and it's been great since.
tho now i have that annoying trusted proxy message that i thought i fixed but caddy wont fwd.

I use the samples as waveform and use pitch and filters to alter the sound to match the melody in my head. I should probably do the rhythm first, I always forget to add that until the end. Please cross post, ill post there in the future once I've lurked the community a bit.

I've gotten some confused looks when I tell people that what Trump is doing right now is exactly what Republicans do every time they're in power.
I think they thought I was defending Trump. No, I'm condemning Republicans.

It's all dependent on VRAM. If you can load the distilled models with your GPU without maxing out your VRAM it will run just as fast as any server farm.

It looks like your video card only has 8 GB of VRAM. That will be your bottleneck.

dmca trolls are using generated media to claim ad revenue. the same media those models were trained on are now being claimed by the generative industry. to be fair, dmca trolls have been doing this well before they could generate their own song based off of the one they want to fuck with.

I’m still pretty wary of a synth company wielding DMCA strikes. I’ve already had my music claimed by DMCA trolls and it just makes me not want to post on YT or TikTok anymore. Their products are for sampling. If they abuse their samples then I’ll go elsewhere.
