If you like arcade racing games you should take a look at GPX, a tribute to pseudo 3D driving titles of the past.

Inspired by 1984 Commodore 64 Epyx masterpiece Pitstop II, GPX features strategic pit stop management including refueling and tyres change.
GPX can be played solo or by two players simultaneously, in split screen on the same PC, side by side with other 9 AI-controlled cars on 4 different fictional tracks.

Hi,
I'm writing this post because my game, GPX, has not been indexed yet after 20 days from publishing.
Link to the game page: https://pal-studio.itch.io/gpx
Support request ticket id: 358808
Assumptions
I know the indexing needs time: I've read the forum and understood the manual process involved behind it, so I'm asking very kindly if there's something I did wrong on the configuration side.
I've read the community's rules, in particular the "Before you create a topic asking why you can't find your game in Search or Browse READ THIS" section, and I still have a question.
I've checked that:
- The project is published as Public
- There isn't limited access to the game page (i.e. "Disable new downloads & purchases" and "Unlisted in search & browse" are both disabled)
- The project page has a cover image uploaded
- The project is available for download with the "name your price" option ("$0 or donate")
- The project page is not an empty placeholder
- I've checked and followed the content creator quality guidelines
- I've shared the game through social/external websites and already generated some genuine traffic to the game page
Why I believe my page should be indexed
I think adding visibility to my project, which is in the niche genre of arcade racing titles, can demonstrate that itch is capable of offering quality products in the most diverse genres. Also the game has already received favorable feedback and more users may find it interesting and enjoy it.
My question
I've noticed that another game with the very same title already exists on itch: I was wondering if this can be the cause for the indexing to be blocked somehow.
Thank you for your time reading this.
I didn't expect such enthusiasm so, first of all, thank you both for your interest!
I just need one person to do the editing so I kindly ask you to provide some portfolio writing work you have done, just to understand how my request fits your skills.
Of course, I haven't mentioned in the first post, but this unpaid work will get credits both in the game page and on the user manual aswell.
I also ask what is your preferred method to stay in touch (email, chat, discord).
This work request will not be paid.
I'm looking for a native English speaker to help me review the user manual of my game GPX.
The user manual is already downloadable on the game page but I would like to make some change and a general review, in anticipation of the release of the next major update.
Actually the user manual has 18 pages and counts more or less 5000 words.
The GPX project has no scheduled deadlines, at the moment, so there will be no rush in doing this work.
If anyone has interest in the project or the genre, or simply want to join for help, please let me know.
Thanks for your time.
I would like to recommend this game, The Third Wish An adventure by George Broussard: https://georgebroussard.itch.io/the-third-wish
It's a sci-fi point and click 2D graphic adventure, in pixel art, in the style of those old graphical adventures by LucasArts, one above all: The Dig.
If you like the genre this is simply a must-try, you wont regret.
Hi there.
This is PAL Studio, an italian solo development project that is starting into the indie scene with a new game, GPX: https://pal-studio.itch.io/gpx
Thanks for those who will contribute to let this project grow.
I like this project. It has a clear premise, keeps a great tension atmosphere and it's a classic puzzle game set in a survival horror context. I really recommend this game and look forward to seeing how the project will evolve! Some suggestions: add an option to invert Y mouse axis, reduce or remove camera movement when player is idle to avoid motion sickness.
This is GPX: https://pal-studio.itch.io/gpx
It's a 1.5 years solo developing project that started simply because I wanted to code a game to play with my son.
When a friend of mine tried the game he enjoyed it so much that suggested me to share it on itch.io, so here it is now.
The game is inspired to Pitstop II, an old Commodore 64 title that I enjoyed when I was a child myself.
