Of course! Happy playing :D

Hey, can you send over an example of what you mean perhaps?

There should be 1 bomb in every colour region which also means there is only 1 per column and row

If you eliminated a bomb in a region, the remaining fields in the region will be 100% bomb free.

I marked the Bomb there, so the fields marked S are safe

Hey!

We're expanding Deal? from a game jam preview into a full chapter-based game with a more open world structure. Currently working on Chapter 1 and looking for someone to help shape the writing.

It's a dark choice-driven narrative -- morally grey decisions, slow dread, consequences that stack up. Text does a lot of the work here so the writing matters.

What you'd be writing

- branching dialogue and choices

- story beats and multiple endings

- atmospheric descriptions

What we're looking for

- something you've written before (game, fanfic, Twine, anything)

- comfortable with slow, creeping tone and moral ambiguity

- reliable -- hobby project but we want to finish it

No pay, passion project only. If it sells we can revisit.

Please only reach out if you're ready to commit your time on a regular basis to work on this. We will only reply on discord and not in this thread.
DM with a sample (discord @ .maciaz) and we'll go from there

I never saw trees drawn this way, this is so interesting. btw I love your layout of this page don't mind if I borrow it as inspiration :>

These are so cool!! What was your inspiration for this? :D

If you have requests on new features - post here.

If you encounter any bugs, post them here

Hey! Just wanted to clarify with you: if I put my UV map in there that I created somewhere else, it 'puts it together' or like I can put it together for a full object and it generates a rotated sprite sheet?

Yes, just during a jam, it's more of a demo for a full game, I guess we could label it this way.

Narrator is Rick from RichardVoices, professional voice over actor. I think he is mostly on Fiverr. I think working on those lines for him might've took us more time than needed haha

Thank you so much for the great feedback and playing our game! We did want to remove information from choices, we just didn't manage to make it in time during the jam. We have a lot of ideas and features for a 'fuller' release of this game and also a lot of your ideas are aligning with what we actually intend to do! (And more!)

In our free time we will be working on fixing all the found bugs and implementing even more things and include even more writing :D

The game doesn't work for me the same way it's described in the comments, cannot move with WASD and can only move by clicking forward.Only 1/4 of the screen is visible because something is covering the screen. Overall feeling is alright but it feels a bit generic, despite the concept not being that bad.

I agree and hiding penalties is the original idea, we just didn't have enough time at the end but thank you for confirming that our initial design was right! :D The same goes with choices, we planned for a lot more but there's only so much we can do in a week. We'll fix all the mentions people had after the jam ends!

I think it might've done better design wise but seems pretty solid and I think with enough polish it has great potential :D

Won at Wave 14, that was a really well presented concept, I'd play a full version!

That is a fairly cool concept, not new but feels fresh :D I see its potential but I do agree with some comments here as well

Thanks for letting me know! If you ever would like to try again, you might want to check downloadable versions we uploaded?

Web versions are usually harder to narrow down since there are so many browsersand versions that can go wrong :/

That is really weird, I see people say Skip doesn't work or picking path but when I launch it it's fine :( Can I ask how you played? I'd like to troubleshoot it to get it to working condition, like which version and browser? Thank you for the feedback as well!

Haven't seen this theme in a while! Simple and enjoyable. I do like the idea of having another perspective. It would also probably work very well with more than 2 characters!

Very sinple well executed puzzle game!

This is a very interesting concept, for such a short time you made a satisfying mechanic and with enough polish I see a big potential. Well done!

I think doing the cutouts was a very creative choice, not often you see something like this. Something like a game-collage vibe would be cool for sure

That's a really interesting idea, I'd like to see how that unfolds further!

Not sure if it was just me but my UI action highlights were veeery tiny I could almost not see them, must've been the engine itself doing that? The art and animation and VFX are really lovely and music fits so well together, I could see this as a full game, very well presented vision and concept!

Thank you! We wanted to add so much more to it and we already had things ready to add but just didn't get the time:( But we do plan to release a fuller version in the future!

Yeah I agree, it's kind of hard to memorize but I loved the concept too. It's one of those game I could see as featured on AppleArcade :D

Yea I almost rolled on the ground in laughter after the part where cow found the glock xD

I can totally see that, using environment to have different challenges, that would be amazing in full release :D

The best strat is to spawn a 200 fella and then spawn bunch of 50s while the 200 is tanking!

He had no chances 8)

I really enjoyed the concept and would totally play a full fledged version with like whole labirythings and multiple paths of levels. Well done! As previous commenter mentioned orange ones are the way to go since they one shot everything

The best score I could get was 9. I do love the art concept of this and wish there were more modes!

Dude that concept is wild it's like reverse Superhot. I'd totally play it in a full like version with much longer levels!

Thanks! We're going to fix it! We encourage to play downloadable versions! They should work better :D

hey can we ask which version you tried? Web, PC, Mac? if Web, which browser? We'd like to fix it!

Hi, can you message me on discord? it's  [.maciaz]

Hey, I didn't get your request, are you sure you put a dot [.] in front of my nickname? it's [.maciaz] on discrod

[CLOSED]

Slot of sound designer was filled on the project already but you're free to reach out with any questions!

Hi,

I am creating a simple card game and have basically everything else in place.

Right now I am just missing original songs and a few sound effects.

Theme of the game is goofy Rats gambling at a table and I would need a couple of soundtracks for an in-game Radio in the following theme:

- Jazzy, chill, finger snapping, piano

It can include some of the following variant:

- chiptune, synthwave, lo-fi

I can give example tracks for anyone that reaches out.

All should be at relatively low bpm. If you already have tracks that fit in this description and I could use that's fine with me as well.

I am currently out of funds to give out but am willing to share 50% of my revenue share in the project.

You can contact me at discord [.maciaz]

Cheers!

I don't see your DM, my dc is:  .maciaz - try there, there is a dot in the front

Apologies I should have stated in the description!

It's a hobby project that will be posted as a free game on itch. I am not able to really pay for this as much as I wish, so I wanted to offer 50% of any donations made after release or another split that we can agree on

Hi,

I am looking for a programmer(s) that would like to work on my project. It's a small project, simple card game that uses a standard deck and has custom rules. I am happy to share more details if you're interested.

Programming language and engine is up to you as long as it can run in browser on itch.

I am happy to provide with all the assets, design and testing required.

The scope would be as follows:

- Drawing cards for player, AI and table

- Placing bets system

- Score counting and tracking

- A few simple dialogue lines

- UI

It's supposed to be a small but well polished game that we can put in our portfolios :)

Thank you for the attention!
