A couple of hours later, I finally finished it. My last two were the crane, then the incubator, the latter of which had be shouting and swearing for a while!

When I press "R" within a vacuum tube, shortly after landing, the game totally locks up. Possibly because the animation can't finish because the tube blocks the "eggsplosion"?

There's a typo (scan error) in H-28. Where your implementation says: "She enjoyed meeting Carol, who was handsomer than ever and getting a divorce from her husband." is is followed by a lone floating "i" which does not appear in the source text.

Solved this over the course of three enjoyable days, each of which concluded with me going to bed and thinking about how to get to a word that's close to a word like "ACID" or "OGRE". In the end, it was "GOAT" that held me up for the longest, because I spent so long on other words! Full review/recommendation on my blog. Thanks!
