I have family in this riding so I was watching it closely. It was very nerve-racking to see how close it was. It was conservative several times while they were finishing counting all the votes.

Funny, after water, beer and coffee are my two most consumed drinks. I like whisky too but havenât been drinking as much lately. It kind of comes and goes.
Amazing. This makes me want to try and find that old PokĂŠmon card somewhere in my parentsâ house
Iâm horrified. Thank you.
If youâre bored and want another one, I havenât checked through the comments but Dragonite has always been my #2. I had a card of him with the carrier bag and I always wanted to have him on my teams on the video games. Ruin that one, or fuse it with Lapras, that would be very interesting.

Here is my Bulova Sea King âWhaleâ from 1971 that I bought used a couple years ago. Still runs very well 54 years later.

Iâve never heard anyone pronounce it like that. Everyone I know says âgayggedâ. Must be a regional thing or something.
Iâm pretty sure I saw ChrisSimpsonsArtist post this a while back. He does a lot of, uh, interesting drawings, where most have way more than the typical number of fingers. Pretty sure this is intentionally too many fingers.
My favourite has always been Lapras. Ruin my childhood for me please.

I love her large ears. Reminds me of a fox.
Islay was named after the scotch, so you were right about the island in Scotland! When she was a little younger, the grey in her coat was far lighter in colour and looked like a smoky colour, so I figured since Islay is usually a smoky scotch (and my personal preference for any hard liquor outside of Canada), the name seemed fitting. We wouldâve called her Peaty if she went by he instead, for the same reason.
I hadnât put two and two together with my username here, thatâs hilarious.

When I told my coworker about Islay, she got very excited to use that fact to help support her arguments with her right wing family or whoever she argues with about this sorta thing. Thankfully all my friends and family are left wing, most are far left, so I donât ever have those sorts of arguments in my life, but I was more than happy to help her situation.
Oh definitely, I will. Sheâs worth the much higher price.
Agreed. I love her coat, sheâs such a model.
Iâm not too sure! Thatâs a good question though. Iâm curious now, Iâll have to ask the vet the next time I see her.

More often than not, cats with both parts tend to develop cancer as a result of it, apparently. Thatâs according to the vet anyway. But yeah I think they tend to be sterile in most cases.

Good to know, thanks. Thatâs just what the vet called her, I wasnât aware there were bad connotations with the term.

Both parts. Islay has both testicles and a uterus. We call her a she (since our other cat is a boy so itâs just easier if one is he and one is she), but technically sheâs a they. Unfortunately itâll be very expensive to get her fixed because of it.

Weird, on my end it doesnât look like that. Iâll take a closer look on my break today.
I will say, lately Iâve been on a nostalgia kick, and have been going through the PokĂŠmon games again. Iâm emulating them, but recently found my GameBoy Colour and thereâs just something about the non-backlit screen. Somehow the colours just look better to me, Iâm not sure why. Itâs definitely objectively worse, but I like it anyway for some reason.
