HudHack is the University of Huddersfield’s flagship student-led hackathon, bringing together passionate developers, designers, engineers, and problem-solvers for an exciting fullday event.
Over the course of the event, participants collaborate in teams to design, build, and present creative tech solutions to real-world challenges. Whether you're an experienced coder or attending your first hackathon, HudHack is designed to be inclusive, supportive, and beginner-friendly.
🚀 What Makes HudHack Special?-
Beginner-Friendly Environment – No prior hackathon experience required. We provide workshops, mentors, and support throughout the event.
-
Hands-On Learning – Participants gain real experience working under time constraints, building projects from idea to prototype.
-
Industry Exposure – Sponsors and industry professionals attend as mentors and judges, giving participants networking opportunities and valuable feedback.
-
Competitive & Fun – Prizes for top teams, mini-games, and interactive challenges (including a CTF) keep the energy high.
-
Community Focused – HudHack is built by students, for students. It’s not just about winning — it’s about learning, collaborating, and pushing your limits.
