      The M203PI (for "Product Improved") seems to be a variant of the grenade launcher specifically designed for easier mounting on various rifles (built as a private venture by some company, not sure how trademarks works with regards to that, I guess "M203" is a military designation rather than a brandname so you can just name your product like that without legal issue?). The Steyr-devised solution seems to involve a whole new handguard that has to be attached, with the grenade launcher then going on that handguard
