80·1 year agoYep. Cops don’t protect and serve the people. They protect and serve capital, i.e. corporations, the rich, oligarchs, etc.

0·2 years agoI’ve heard people say that they know it’s unconstitutional and their goal is to get someone to sue over it and take it to SCOTUS so SCOTUS can rule in their favor and give them free reign to violate the 1st amendment all they want.

1·2 years agoAgreed. Corporations should not be allowed to own housing. It has zero benefits for the public and little to no drawbacks for the corporation.

5·2 years agoSeriously. They act like it’s 1924 not 2024, when ~$3,000 was the equivalent of ~$55,000 today.

35·2 years agoI hope they fine all of them trillions and jail the top level people. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this BS. There’s been rampant price gouging, fixing, and collusion going on in this country for a long time now across industries and it sure would be nice if someone would do something to stop it.

15·2 years agoRight? There’s people still spouting that “all of that money from the pandemic” is somehow still sustaining the lives of thousands and thousands of people 4 years later.

Didn’t we already try little to no regulations at least once in this country? Deregulating doesn’t generally help anyone except the rich.
Now you tell me. I’ve been putting my headphones on my eyes for years and wondering why I couldn’t hear anything.

18·2 years agoYep. I’ve used 5 1/4s, 3.5s, Zip, CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVDs, DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs, BD, BD-R, BD-RW, Thumb/Flash, SD, Micro SD, and CF. The only one I can think of that I never personally used were Tapes, but I know people who did. They kind of came and went in a hurry it felt like to me.

20·2 years agoWow. Looks like Georgia doesn’t want to be left out of the fascist fun states like Florida, Texas, Arkansas, etc. are doing.
I thought a business degree would be very useful. Joke’s on me I guess. I haven’t had a single job that made use of my degree, but a few that “required” one that 40+ years ago probably wouldn’t even have required a high school diploma.

Remember when judges said we couldn’t keep giving “free money” to all these corporations over and over? Yeah me neither. Why is it that we always have to fight helping our own people but will walk through broken glass, nails, lava, etc., to help billion dollar companies and other countries?
