They surely have tons of horrible problems. But you seem to want to hold on to a feeling of moral superiority relative to the russians for some reason… which is just not real.
Theres a lot of rape going on in the us military too. Youll find lots of testemony about these crimes being silenced and unpunished, with a bit of research.

You can say its different. Yes, i agree. But the us doesnt really have any moral high ground as your comment seems to suggest.
During the pandemic, bolsonaro was catering to antivax and his whole family was pretending they werent getting vaccinated. But a leaked facebook post by his sons wife showed her mocking antivaxers, saying she was vaccinating her daughter… Theyre just playing the roles they were assigned to in public.
Use the first version with personal relationships. Dont let paranoia ruin your social circle.
With politics, assume the worst.
Im on a streak since november with the same task.

2·9 days agoMe too, i wrote that but i live in a small rented appartment. Im thinking about growing basic stuff like basil, rosemary, lemon balm. Its nowhere close to growing actual food, but its something.
I guess the arrow points to how they respond to the accusations, not the truth. The truth is the last line of the meme, and it has been that for a while.

3·9 days agoI guess the next step is growing food for yourself and your neighbors, installing solar panels (its spending money, i know, but it reduces the money continuously flowing up, so its a win if you ask me).
The government is a complex system with internal conflicts.
Ad/tech companies are toys of the government. Sometimes these toys throw a fit because the people involved want more money. But they were made by the government, and have a front story about how a genius with a good idea and business skills turned it into a billion dollar company. They wouldnt exist without the iniciative and investment of the government.

The person in the image also is overestimating how many people use adblockers. Most people i know watch youtube on their cellphones or tvs infested with ads.
I think “surveillance” doesnt cut it. Mass monitoring of political opinions, and subtle manipulation of these political opinions through recomendation algorithms in social media is whats being attempted here. “Surveillance” sounds so innocent in comparison.
But youre right, the advertisement business model is a front, a capitalist-flavoured mask, to make a state apparatus appear natural and somewhat acceptable to the people.

Also the sturdier machines are heavier, take up more space in tiny appartments, and consume more power. I was looking for juicers the other day and deciding between an industrial one and a cheap plastic one. THe industrial one was enormous and used 700W, while the cheap one used like 25W. THe industrial one wasnt even that much expensive, like 2-3x the price of the cheap one, but would take up much more space in my kitchen.
