Whatever happened after 2024?

When I started using Raccoon there was one developer who was very active and used to interact regularly. After he burned out it has been almost abandoned like. It is still working. One developer said something like upcoming changes to Lemmy needing too much work to implement.
What is happening with Raccoon? There is no update in a long while now.
Did you solve this? Are you using exFAT filesystem on them?

Ask Linux@lemmy.world•Dependencies - why does a package installed later become un-removable without nuking the whole system?
1·8 months agoThis was noticed in PCLinuxOS which has been my primary OS for many years now. This not from today so I do not have specifics here. The thought just popped in my mind after watching some video on YouTube.
Synaptic is the package manager front end for apt4rpm (I think)

Lemmy Apps@lemmy.world•What is your favorite App and what is the "killer feature?"
2·9 months agoRecently there is no engagement in the community. May be it is all happening elsewhere. Previously the developers were actively engaging with the community and bug fixes were quick.

2·9 months agoPrimarily Boost, but also Raccoon. Unfortunately something has happened with the development of Raccoon and I am getting the feel that it is abandoned now.

3·9 months agoSome other retailers seem to list the same model with cooler for almost the same price. X means some changes in CPU itself, something to do with internal memory or whatever. Many people recommended the X version over plain 5700 due to this.

Nice! I was searching for such a file browser based option. I am a fan of SicMu and I hope this one supports Android Auto, there is nothing else like that out there.
