  • You would think the gulliblety of the internet would improve over time but nah, trolling from 20 years ago has only advanced in size with an increased amount of users, including the youngest generation.

People march over homeless people in their own city, protesting for some issue happening on the other side of the globe that they can’t do anything about.

This sounds awfully similar to what a government would say in response to a protest lmao.

  • I watched it during the first couple of months of 2020; it was insanely accurate and the soundtrack was intense like a super upgraded version of the background sounds of plague Inc.

The most unrealistic part was the CDC actually doing their job and the government actually enforcing quarantine zones lol.

Real kicker is the final scene. Don’t want to spoil it for anyone else, but it really hits you after living through Covid.

  • Very critical. GNOME and KDE have two very different UX paradigms.

Usually people used to Windows opt for KDE, and Mac or older Ubuntu users opt for GNOME.

The thing is though, a golden standard DE can easily be setup to act as both. XFCE is so customizable that I’ve seen both DE types setup as UNIX like or Windows like workflow.

I’m not sure if KDE or GNOME can do the same because I’m pretty sure they focus on a target audience.

What are your issues with KDE exactly? I always hated GNOME’s lack of standard window buttons and handling multiple windows in a Mac like fashion. Also the app menu which gives me flashbacks of ChromeOS.

  • Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial chief minister, told reporters in Quetta that troops and police officers responded swiftly to the attacks, killing 145 members of “Fitna al-Hindustan,” a phrase the government uses for the BLA.

Sure buddy. 145 of them just conveniently showed up to get shot by the army.

Pakistani army is too busy trying to remind the world that they were rhe first ones to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. They don’t even allocate enough APCs for their soldiers in Balochistan.

Dude was just bored and wanted to implement his idea from his University paper. He was long gone before Bitcoin became a trading commodity instead of a novel currency.

Of which Bitcoin did it to itself which is why we got hard forks like Bitcoin cash that barely reached $2k when bitcoin was at $70k.

Not to mention that plenty of superior cryptos came out to replace bitcoin like xrp, monero, etc.

These posts are often very dumb and never understand that most of these tech innovations are novel ideas from University research that happend to become the latest trend.

Even LLMs and AI have excellent use cases, yet you’ll see idiots like this crap on it 24/7 like its the antichrist.

It’s like blaming Einstein for the atomic bomb being dropped on Hiroshima.
