That’s the killer app for the fediverse. Because non of y’all have the attention span to become a long-term influencer turned into a grifter. And I love it.

It lost when they killed the groups. Xing had fairly active user groups with a lot of local influencers - in a positive sense, not the grifty one, people who could pull barcamps together and really fun networking events.
A lot of german people moved over to linkedin back then and interaction on xing dropped massivly.
It’s now owned by Hubert Burda Media.

Datensparsamer ist gut, das Ding ist inzwischen so lahm, dass es keinen Spaß mehr macht.

3·10 days agoGibt es ne Möglichkeit, die Links als Beitrag zu sperren und, wenn sie in einem Textfeld gepostet werden, dass sie zu einer sicheren Variante ala archive[.] today umgewandelt werden?
Dazu sollte eventuell bei jedem solchen Link eine Warnung automatisch gepostet werden, wenn es dazu nen fähigen bot gibt.
