Fell for it again award

It’s become pretty clear this is the case, because the moment anyone can break through the veil of sycophants and yes-men, he changes his mind immediately. Just look at Mamdani; Trump was talking about how he’s a monster, going to destroy the US, etc., then the moment he met the dude he loves him. He talked about how Renee Goode was a terrorist, then he’s shown the video and seems genuinely shocked. At this point it’s very clear that the man doesn’t have a single coherent thought himself, and is purely a vessel for Wormtongue Miller and the rest of those ghouls.

The best part is how many of them are using the exact same language that they (rightfully) complained about people using to try and sensationalize and fear monger other cases of civilian firearm ownership. "Oh, it was semi-automatic! (like literally every handgun in existence) And had dozens of rounds (like any modern handgun).
Exact same fucking shit as people would use to bitch and sensationalize other incidents, but in this case Alex Pretti wasn’t a fucking mass murderer. They’ll complain about the media calling the gun a mass child murderer uses an “assault weapon”, but the moment someone actually exercises their 2nd Amendment rights properly, suddenly they’re happily repeat the same shit because it benefits them.
Likewise, while I appreciate a lot of people waking up to it, it’s frustrating how many people on “the left” (liberal Dems mostly) who were unbelievably ignorant about firearms and were vehemently opposed to any amount of private firearm ownership, suddenly caring about the 2nd Amendment and parroting off “shall not be infringed”, as I feel like it’s not a principled stance and they’re just saying it because it’s “their side” now. If they’re actually realizing it’s kinda important, good for them, but it’s still frustrating how many people care solely because it’s “their side”

I think that might literally just be a broken seat.

It’s one thing to continuously move dates like that, but the uniqueness of giving a 3 month window and saying it with such confidence is very amusing to me.

“3 months maybe, 6 months definitely” is still one of my favorite quotes from his timeline estimates.

Those crazy margins lasted for like 2 quarters until it was revealed that one of the main ways they managed it was severely under allocating warranty. It was a neat trick, until vehicles actually started to come back with warranty claims and they realized they literally make the least reliable and most expensive to repair cars on the market. IIRC they were allocating like 1/3 of what Toyota does per-vehicle, which is absolutely insane given the kind of vehicles they make. Hence why they became insanely stingy with warranty claims, and you saw tons of in-warranty repairs being allocated to “goodwill” which is a distinctly different pool from warranty allocation.
The entire company is built on fraud and shell-games with SpaceX/Starlink/Boring Co. and Musk has straight up admitted as much. No one gives a shit and a judge literally ruled he’s allowed to do it because line go up.
I can rant for hours about all the insanely sketchy stuff they’ve done solely for a one quarter boost, and plenty of other stuff where their cost-cutting directly resulted in loss of life.

In the US we also have places like Rent-A-Center that can be used for that. They tend to be quite predatory and usually target low income people to rent luxury goods they couldn’t normally afford, but I knew someone who’d rent their largest TV for a week for their Superbowl party, and it was a pretty good use for the service.

Because then you’d have a lip/ridges in the screen that would effectively look like 2 vertical cracks all the way up the screen. Honestly, the “plastic” screen isn’t that big of a deal. It’s effectively just a screen protector anyways, and Samsung gives you a free one within the first year, and replacements are $20 afterwards.
I’ve had my Fold 7 for 3 months now without issues, and honestly it’s the first phone I’ve owned since my first Note that actually felt like a “game changer” in any way. It makes for a fantastic E-reader and it’s just far more pleasant to read longer form articles and such on.

Yup, there’s a reason Noem and all the other monsters in the admin have had to scuttle and hide on military bases. They’re weak and pathetic, and know people fucking despise them.

I think it’s a combination of ignorance/mental protection. It’s mentally taxing and depressing to realize that so many people are being oppressed by the system due to no fault of their own. It’s the reason there’s such vehement backlash against teaching any amount of critical theory in the US, because it basically amounts to realizing “everything you ever knew was a lie, and life is profoundly unfair”. It’s deeply unsettling to think that someone is suffering because of random chance and the systems we’ve built, so instead you reject it and comfort yourself by victim blaming instead, because then you don’t have to worry about falling into that same hole.

It’s not something that’s been allowed in the US until very recently. Auto on/off high beams have been a thing for decades, but the selective dimming/“tunneling” only just recently became legal within the past couple of years in the US.

Newer drones are literally required by law to broadcast their remote ID, which also contains location identification. Yes, they can track you very easily.
https://www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/remote_id
Sure, there are cheap drones that don’t abide by these requirements, and a DIY system can get around it, but the point stands that basically any “name brand” non-toy drone sold in the US is going to tell the anyone interested your location the moment you turn the transmitter on.

The fact that they can track your controller and hunt you down.

If you have good insurance, this is absolutely what it can be. My work pays for mine, and the max out-of-pocket is $3.6k/yr. I had already hit my max, then wound up with a $4k ER visit, so it wound up being free. Unfortunately, most insurance is fucking awful unless your company is willing to pay a shitton for some very expensive plan.

The worst part is that it’s not his relationship that he’s calling a “wonderful secret”, that was literally public knowledge for decades. It’s the child fucking he’s all giddy and “secretive” about
Tesla’s margins are nowhere near 30%. They technically were there for like a single quarter. Even without all the insane accounting tricks they use, they’re around 10% now, and it’s likely that’s a lie.
