Yes, I agree. But in our current climate we have media and not a whole lot of social interaction. So for all intents and purposes currently media is driving our culture.

I wish I felt less socially awkward about making positive comments about others appearances.

You can both vote and organize. Why vote? The more fascist the government is the harder it is to organize. For only 15 minutes every 2 years, it’s actually a pretty powerful tool. It may not move things left but it slows down the fascism.

I think firewitch’s point was that third parties almost by definition have zero chance of getting a candidate elected in a first past the post system. This is pretty common knowledge.
