4·9 days agoThey will use whatever data they can. This is why things like flock, alpr systems, communications dragnets, etc are so scary We’re past the point of “I’ve nothing to hide” - of course you’re not a criminal, until someone else makes being you criminal… Privacy advocates have been screaming for decades - this current situation is the direct result of generalized apathy

News@lemmy.world•More liberals, people of color and LGBTQ Americans say they're buying guns out of fear
111·3 months agoGood thing it is their right to keep and bear arms!
It isn’t a political party issue, it’s about defending rights when no one else can or will do it for you.
Gun rights are trans rights. They’re gay rights. They’re little old lady rights. They’re white rights, black rights, legal immigrant rights. They’re rights for weaklings, and rights for the strong.
That’s the thing about rights - we are all entitled to them!
Now go get yourself some instruction about safety, and time at the range, and don’t be stupid with your tools for death ☠️

Viewers go where the content is, yes, but you don’t get content on alternative sites if you don’t post there.
YouTube in the old days was awesome. Then Google happened to it. When it first started it was quite small.

It helps to have a concrete problem to solve. If you just say I want to learn coding you’ll not go very far
Full stack python and SQL means python to handle user interface, data connectivity, interfacing with APIs, understanding/designing a database to perform the necessary data storage / retrieval in an optimal way for how your application works, creating all the logic, safe guards, etc.
Basically I have this thing I want to do, and it’s going to interact with a lot of data. Your tools are python and SQL and a small stack of money - make the thing that does it all
Full stack means all the parts, soup to nuts
