Not particularly cheap but not very expensive either and goes a long way pasta salad
1 family pack of buittoni cheese tortellini Italian sausage (ground or whole) 1 jar pesto Cherry tomatoes Red onion Bell pepper Artichoke hearts (jar, marinated) Feta
Boil pasta, drain
Cook sausage, cut to bit sized if using whole links
Cut veggies to desired bite sizes
Add pasta, sausage veggies and pesto to bowl, mix, salt and pepper to taste
refrigerate, serve chilled with a sprinkle of feta
Tends to make about 8-10 servings for 20-30ish dollars, cooks in less than an hour, makes a full meal, great to pack to work and eat cold
This is sick as hell

Really tried to get into ONI since it seems like exactly the type of game I would love but I just couldn’t sink my teeth into it. The UI felt like rimworld but with a much more watered down set of possibilities. Any tips for trying to get into it? I feel like I might be expecting the wrong things from this game

Hell Let Loose is definitely worth the try if you’re looking for a squad based WW2 shooter. Doesn’t have the destructible environments of battlefield but it’s super fun and requires a lot more tactical forethought than a lot of shooters I’ve played.
It definitely has a bigger learning curve than BF. The game really forces you to collaborate with your squad, move as a soldier would, and consider your routes through the map. Game has a great community though and I’ve found people are usually more than willing to show newbies the ropes.

I thought it was good and fun but have decided to shelve it for a while to give the devs time to finish it. In its current state it feels similar to playing Fallout 4. I think once A-Live is fully implemented it will be a much more interesting game to play.
I played cyberpunk at release and it left a sour taste in my mouth, to the point that I don’t think I’ll ever replay cyberpunk (even though I understand that the game is largely fixed now). I think by holding off on playing Stalker 2 I’ll get to play something closer to the devs original vision of it without spoiliing the game for myself.

IIRC you never actually have to shoot any of the civilians in that level, but as players we all assumed that you did. IMO that level was the most interesting commentary that has been made in the COD series because it (somewhat sneakily) put the onus onto the player. Most of us just assumed that we needed to gun down the civilians without choice. In my opinion its one of the more poignant moments in the entire series for how it handled such a grim story beat.

If you have the patience for it, try playing on a much harder difficulty. The medium and low difficulty levels don’t provide the same weight. Many systems in the game are unnecessary at lower difficulty levels but higher difficulty forces you to engage in them to get the extra edge over certain encounters.
Higher difficulties force you to engage in potion brewing, reading up on enemies, and making genuinely tough choices morally in order to keep Geralt alive. Lower difficulties remove all the tension from these systems.
Also as another user mentioned, don’t skip any dialogue and engage in the side quests/contracts as they give a lot of unique flavor and nuance to the world and story.

I really like Kaos and this is a bummer. Really goes to show that I shouldn’t get into any Netflix series until it’s all finished. Guess that one’s on me for thinking they wouldn’t cancel a well received show like this again…
The sideways monk

I think this belongs everywhere

I honestly think it’s extremely good against terminids. Really helpful to get out of a tight situation or to get up on a rock and cheese for a minute

Dredge
Had no idea what to expect going into it. Had only heard that it was a cosmic horror fishing game and decided to give it a try. Ended up loving it!
Not a huge game in terms of scope but feels it nailed every mechanic and the art style and delivery is top notch

I’d almost say it’s the opposite… U2 is a decent band, but nothing too special. Bono has a strong reputation as a philanthropist doing good for the worlds charities.

I was about to link this video, so funny

It’s pretty bad, and not in a ‘so bad it’s good’ kinda way… It’s just bad

If you’re playing games that give you a response with your heart rate, them id say that’s probably a bit risky. Would definitely be worth asking your doctor as I am not a medical professional. Could be worth trying some more chill games that don’t produce an adrenaline response like that.
I’ve been there!! Amazing spot to play pinball, just wish they served beer… I’m pretty sure they have over 200 tables and some fairly rare ones. Bonzai Run, and Water world are 2 that had fairly limited runs but can be played there.

When I’m struggling to come up with a gift idea I usually resort to something nice that can be eaten or drank. Some nice chocolates, coffee or liquor can be a great gift that won’t leave someone with something they never use.
American here. Please boo us at the Olympics. We deserve it. Actually take it a step further. Don’t let us participate in the games at all. Also while we’re at it boot us from the WC and give hosting exclusively to Canada and Mexico.
