I love this movie sooooo much. I was 11 years old and my parents took me to see it in the cinema - I was so scared that I couldn’t get in because of my age and FSK12😂

The movie blew my mind. It was my very first contact to the queer scene or realising “oh queer people exist, I had no idea” (It still took me almost 20 years to come out as trans enby lol). I rewatched it a couple times now, with my own child. I love the performance of Williams and Lane, these two are hilarious and fantastic actors - and as you say: it’s still a political fitting setting (sadly)

Darin liegt auch wirklich eines der großen familienseitigen Probleme: Kinder und unbegleitete und/oder exzessive Mediennutzung. Das ist inzwischen ein gesamtgesellschaftliches Thema über mehrere Generationen hinweg.

Schade, dass es in Finnland auch so ist. Als ich damals meine Ausbildung anfing, hieß es immer in skandinavischen Ländern sei das Betreuungs- und Bildungssystem vorbildlich & besonders gut & wirksam

Nein, das ist das geringste Problem (in meiner Nicht-Großstadt). Kinder die kein Deutsch sprechen, lernen es meist super schnell. Sie verstummen häufig für eine Weile und plötzlich macht es klick und sie fangen an Deutsch zu reden. Klar ist es anfangs vielleicht schwieriger, aber mit Geduld und einfühlsamen Personal ist das überhaupt kein großes Thema.

Es wird in der Debatte meiner Meinung nach zu häufig am falschen Ende angesetzt - die Wahrheit ist: Kitas haben zu wenig und nicht ausreichend qualifiziertes Personal.

Leider nach meiner Erfahrung auch zu wenig einfühlsames Personal - denn häufig hat das Personal schlicht und einfach zu wenig Zeit oder Kapazitäten und zu viel Stress, um dauerhaft einfühlsam bleiben zu können.
