Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft sneaks ads into the new Outlook for WindowsEnglish
2·2 年前I have to use Office 365 for work so there’s no alternative but I think these ads are just for the non-enterprise version? I use Thunderbird for private use but tbf, I send like 2 emails a month at most. Are there many people that use outlook daily for private use?

I’m in the same boat. I like it but unlike Reddit, I feel like closing the app after 10 minutes of scrolling because I either keep seeing the same posts or the posts have no comments to interact with.

Not trying to offend or start shit, it’s a genuine question.
I said most of Europe, not all of Europe.
I’m well aware that AC is common to have in the south but then you’re talking about like 4 countries. Once you move north of those, it’s not all that common to have an AC in the house.
Because for most of Europe, it wasn’t needed to have AC up until more recent years. You would have maybe what? 5-10 days a year that were actually really warm. People wouldn’t install an AC for that.
These numbers will drastically change the coming decades.

Working from home full-time, manager leaves me alone because he acknowledges I’m doing a good job and is happy to let me do things my way. Spend some time with my little one today, just keeping an eye on my emails.
Weather’s nice so will likely fire up the grill later 👍

I’m not sure what most of this means or how it could affect me, but you’re saying that as an EU citizen, this is not something I should be overly concerned with?
