  • While the US military is as powerful as you describe, I don’t believe Trump has that level of control over the military. It’s why he’s militarizing ICE as his personal army. ICE is much easier to resist since they lack the discipline and training of the military

There are many ways we can resist. We all have to try something and hope one of the efforts is successful. ICE is still hiring. Gumming up the works from the inside could be effective, as an example

  • This is probably more viable than a lot of people want to admit

A lot of companies don’t really check your background thoroughly. I know people who have been fired from a job, then told future employers they were laid off. None of them ever ended up getting called out for it

Just pick a company that went out of business, or recently got bought out, to have your recent work experience from. You could be sued if you get caught, but it’s rare and just a risk of the game I guess

Because there is a lot of evidence tied to mailing a letter

    • DNA

    • Fingerprints

    • Time and location the letter was mailed from

    • Camera footage of you mailing the letter

    • The letter itself can generally be traced back to where it was manufactured

    • Address handwriting/stamp/sticker

Even if you scrub anything personally identifying yourself, it still leaves a fairly unique fingerprint. A sufficiently motivated investigator would be able to identify another similar payment without inspecting the actual contents of the letter. Hence pseudo-anonymous

  • My neighbor who literally flew a Confederate flag for a while - in California, mind you, my joke being “Southern California will rise again” - took his Trump flag down after the first round of Epstein stuff and it hasn’t gone back up yet

Man, this just gave me an idea. Print off a bunch of copies of the new pages about the allegations against Trump, then start mailing them out to houses with Trump flags up. No additions or alterations, other than to include “published by the United States Department of Justice, January 30th, 2026” along with a direct link to the pages on the DOJ site (or maybe an archive.org link to it, since they already took it down once)

Edit to respond to your whole comment:

Also, the Trump administration simply appears to be way less competent than the (original) Nazis were. The second season is scarier than the first, but that’s a large part of what saved us during the first season too.

I agree it seems less competent – Hitler actually wanted to improve the living standards for Aryan Germans; whereas Trump wants to enrich himself and his billionaire sycophants – we also have no realistic chance for external factors to bring down the regime as happened with the Nazis. There is zero chance the US would ever be invaded. No country will want to go to war with the US. They’ll simply stop doing business with us, like Russia or North Korea

  • I don’t want another centrist candidate. A lot of people share that view. Everyone knows a lot of people don’t want another centrist. The current political landscape clearly favors a progressive candidate like Mamdani, Bernie, or AOC

We’re years away from the election. Election results are good for progressives that focus on fixing real issues the average American experiences. Centrist Democrats have been performing poorly

If the DNC pushes Newsom in 2028 and he loses, it will squarely be the fault of the DNC. Voter preferences are clear, just as they were in 2024 and 2016

At some point we have to admit the candidates pushed by the DNC were unpopular. They lost because no one wanted them. The DNC preferred a Trump presidency over a progressive Democrat

“Vote blue no matter who” does not work. Democrats lost in both 2016 and 2024 against one of the worst candidates in presidential history because the DNC did a poor job. It’s the DNC you should be upset with, not the people who got sick of pinching their nose to vote

I voted against Trump 3 elections in a row. I’m fucking sick and tired of having to vote for pro-corporate Democrats. I didn’t feel any of them had my interests in mind
