17·3 years agoIf mastodon.social is the biggest instance, threads have been laughing for their number since the first day it was released.
Meta do not need Mastodon users at all to take off. They dont even federate at the moment.
Thing is, linux is not suitable for general crowd.

2·3 years agoMastodon is on a decline already. It is different than, say, Lemmy. Mastodon’s contents are produced mainly by mainstream content creators, and they do not migrate from Twitter its counterpart.
