I noticed this too. People like me a lot more when I roast them with confidence, and then laugh in their face about it instead of apologizing or saying “I’m just kidding”. You can get away with saying a lot if you say it with a smile.

In the early 2000s there was this website called dll-files.com or something like that, and every time that error popped up (which happened a lot in the 90s and 2000s), you’d go to that website, download the missing file, and 99% of the time it would fix the problem. These days I’d advise against obtaining random DLL files from the internet but back then it was like magic.

Where were you in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s? People have historically hated programmers. They’ve been picked on for so long that they made a documentary about it called Revenge of the Nerds.

Then something shifted in the 2010s and suddenly it’s now cool to be into technology. I used to be picked on for being on the computer all the time, now everyone is addicted to their pocket computer, even the ones who made fun of me for it! It’s so bad that we have an entire generation of children who can’t function without being glued to a screen 24/7. I don’t get what happened. Engagement algorithms?

Use a reverse image search; it’s a really common image and easily found. Don’t make others do your dirty work.
