3·15 hours agoMy best guess is they mean that leftists tend to prefer abandoning mainstream social media platforms than fighting against the right on them. Hence Facebook, twitter etc turning full right wing while we find refuge in places like here.

8·2 days agoLike when they suddenly decided every single function of the car including those you’re expected to operate while driving should be under 4 sub-menus on a touch screen you need to look at.
So that’s a very common mistake to the point you could argue it isn’t one anymore, but originally it’s “Junglist massive”.
That reflection does not look like 123kg to me, how??
They didn’t say it didn’t come with any other downsides, to be fair.
Either that or folks will happily shovel the slop into their eyeballs and lose all critical thinking ability. It’s a toss-up.
12·3 days agoWorld of Warcraft. I’m honestly at my happiest when all I have to worry about are dailies and raids. Unfortunately, that’s not compatible with family life, my work, etc etc.
I like the name but I once had a coworker that was really useless to the point it ruined it for me haha.
I’m not even vegan, though we do vary our diet and avoid red meat, and yeah, steak worship is just weird AF.
Not a Brit but I would add the different pies/shepherd pies etc to that list. But really I don’t think you can not count the imported cuisine because I do love getting Indian, Caribbean, etc when I’m there. Even Italian TBH you can get some nice pizza (but not quite like Italy obviously).

That butterfly one looks sick, I’m not a fan of the overplayed “world map in a cool material” wall-art but this one might get a pass depending on the execution.
