Yeah that’s what I meant by clever naming. I guess I was reading too deep. I thought it was referencing more.
I failed a brain check, I’ve been googling those names for 30 minutes. I don’t get the reference. What’s the joke here? I would have just taken it as cleaver naming for the region.

1·2 years agoFirst OSish was what came default with the Commodore 64. My first full fledged OS was Windows 3.11. My first Linux distro was Mandrake I think 6.
Exactly what I was thinking. Omega Mart immediately came to mind.
Reminds me of Catnap from Poppy Playtime.

How is Linwarrior 3D? Has anyone played it? It claims it’s an open source game similar to MechWarrior 2.

As long as distros give people the option/ability to install in other ways I don’t see a problem. Now if Ubuntu out right banned any other way to install apps that would be big news.
Love this and now I’m expecting wallpapers for my xfce build.
I don’t even use discord but now I’m curious to setup an account to see what is ruffling people’s feathers.
Learned basic on that thing as well. I remember having a magazine subscription that included a program in the center fold. Then saving it to a cassette tape to enjoy later. Lol
A commodore 64 joystick. Next was the NES controller.
Sad to hear. Just learning about this game from your post. Looked like a good RTS.
