I’m confused, what does a distaste for “objective” reality even mean?

Thank you for taking the time to construct such a helpful comment.
I keep seeing posts pop up that I relate to, then I look down and it’s from an ADHD community. Either these are experiences everyone has… Or I have undiagnosed ADHD

Jellyfin is A-ok for the tech illiterate. I actually think it might be easier to navigate and use because it’s a bit more simple than Plex.

They’re not false, but they don’t show the whole picture, as one paragraph seldom can.
If you are referring the action in Runcorn, of which they are said to have “stormed, scaled, and occupied” the premises of the military equipment manufacturer at 4.30am, I wouldn’t say that counts as violence. I would say that violence is typically considered harm to a person or people, not windows and drones.

211·5 months agoWe have ‘freedom of expression’ as outlined in the 1998 Human Rights Act. The HRA says that we are free to express ourselves as we see fit so long as it is within the confines of the law.
We have relatively strong hate speech laws as outlined in the 1986 Public Order Act, which makes it an offense to “[make] threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviours that causes, or is likely to cause, another person harassment, alarm or distress” and “language that encourages terrorism”.
Recently a non-violent pro-Palestine, activist group (Palestine Action) was prescribed as a terrorist group, making it illegal to support any of their actions.

In particular I found this guide to be fairly easy to follow.
As for using a VPN: it can’t hurt!
London is already the third most surveilled city in the world with 73 cameras per 1000 people. So yeah, we’re not that far behind.

9·11 months agoYou can whatever shell you like and still write scripts in bash, as bash is a part of (practically) every system. When you write a .sh script the first line will indicate which shell to use, so you can run bash scripts from any shell so long as you have it installed.
