See this is the problem right here. 1/3 of Americans are deplorable, always have been, back to the founding fathers. And it only took 28% to elect Trump/Elon/Vance. How can the world ever trust the US political system again? It’s been hacked by Citizens United, and at this point has been completely corrupted by the billionaires. I do believe that it can be fixed, but it won’t be. This has been a long time in the making.
Meanwhile, Trump won with only 28% of registered voters. The GOP is the minority, our political/voting system is by design.
