And the vast majority of people have no problem passing countless masses of invisible men everyday. And the vast majority of people would run from a bear. Pretending otherwise is just nonsense that doesn’t lend your premise any credibility. All this hypothetical situation illustrates is that people are irrational with their fears and lie about them. I don’t know about mad, but I do think anyone who answers bear is either lying or stupid. I don’t see those people diving into the bear den at the zoo when men are visible.

Can you explain the benefits?

Yep, specifically home defense, not carrying in the public. My duty to retreat ends at my house. But I don’t leave the house that much, usually work from home, if I was out there more often I may want to look into open or concealed carry laws in my locality, but all those things cost money. I’m already annoyed that I felt worried enough to buy a gun in the first place. Annoyed that I feel it’s prudent to dig up my passport card and carry it in my wallet despite me not traveling abroad.
