That NRG900 sporty motorbike.
Loved going fullspeed down the highway so that I would crash and die and only see what I crashed into 2 seconds later once it had actually loaded in 🥲

I think Thrustmaster have a patent on that. I may be misremembering, but they definitely brought out modular controllers.

That looks great!

This is lovely ❤️

In my opinion, Foddians are best described as games that require you to learn a skill while testing your patience. Some involve some kind of platforming challenge, that can feel punishing, as a small mistake can cost you a chunk of progress.
I don’t think calling them “bad on purpose” with crappy controls is very fair, as Getting Over It, Jump King, and A Difficult Game About Climbing, to name just a few, are all extremely well polished games.

Thank you for the encouragement! I’m going to save this post and come back and read it next time I’m scared about annoying people ❤️

Thank you for your kind comment! And for calling my clouds gorgeous :D
I’m not new to Lemmy per se, but I am new to posting here, so I didn’t really know exactly how things were going to display, especially with the automatic embeds that lots of social media sites do these days. I’ll definitely take the effort to add pictures directly to the post in the future! I agree that not taking people off platform unless they really want to would be preferable, sorry!

Thank you! That’s actually really good advice, if you share positivity then you’re more likely to attract positive people! Makes perfect sense 🙂

Well, I’m glad this one is gaining lots of interest for you! It looks like a cool game!
I have my first game called “Enso” in the Steam Next Fest right now, so fingers crossed I’ll be able to gain a little traction too! Do you have any tips on how to promote your game without feeling like a scumbag? I hate the “salesman” type feeling I get from talking about my game online 😅

Congrats, that’s a massive achievement!

Shakshouka! So easy, so tasty, so cheap, and can switch out basically any ingredient for whatever you have lying around! Worth looking up if you don’t know it :)

My mind is blown, haha thanks for sharing :)

Feck off?!! Is it really???!

The word “utilize”.
No idea! I’ll find out if and when I receive another email from them!
Going through a bit of my library…
Elite: Dangerous - Menus Rocket League - Parkour Project Zomboid - Menus Stardew Valley - Menus Getting Over It - Parkour This War of Mine - Menus Outer Wilds - Parkour Stacklands - Menus
Omg it’s true!

For those saying this is probably just the devs being lazy… Well, they took the effort to write these two lines of CSS, and took the time to make sure they displayed as the exact same color.
input:checked+.slider {
background-color: rgba(18, 107, 255, 1);
}
input+.slider {
background-color: rgba(18, 107, 255, 1);
}
So there was effort to make both sides blue, whether that was incompetence or intentional, the design itself is still an asshole design and should be shamed :) Good toggle switches can be found all over the web in seconds!
Truuuuue haha, it could be a lot worse!
Oh cool, didn’t know that about GIMP! I’ve always wanted something more powerful than the Action Sequencer in Photoshop. What extra can you do in GIMP?
Cool! I hope more of this kinda stuff becomes mainstream.
