Reference tactical belts in general, there’s typically an inner belt that fits inside belt loops, then a bigger outer belt that Velcroes onto the inner belt. The outer belt is what you attach gear to, and keepers (the webbing loops) are required partially because the belt attachment loops of the gear obstruct the Velcro, weakening the connection. As to why you don’t just throw all that stuff on the inner belt, I think it’s a question of ergonomics and space required. Not 100% on that one
If you’re talking about the things just left of the handcuff case, those are little webbing loops that snap closed and keep the outer belt secured to the inner belt

Yeah the corn movement barely helped and you still have people whining or raging in the comments regardless of subject matter. I just want muh memes
No, real dragons have one muscular arm and concentric Vs along the back.

9·3 months ago;_; Star Wars legends fan, I will continue to resent Disney forever for blighting one of my favorite franchises. But yeah new “Star Wars” content has ceased to excite me. When the acolyte came out and I saw the reviews I was completely unsurprised.
Idk much about programming but that looks like a beautiful reduction of bloat in coding language 😶

Privacy@lemmy.ml•What's more dangerous nowadays: To not update Win11, or to update it?
3·3 months agoLike everyone else is saying, updating is the best policy for security, especially/ironically with the increasing internet connectedness of the OS. I’ve heard of things like Windows Shut Up! That disables various undesirable “features” of windows forcefully, there might be something like that for Win11 that you can run after updates. Or maybe a YouTube channel that tells you what new things to combat. If there is someone please let me know.
Sounds familiar. We can be downvote-and-report buddies!

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•what's the best material for wiping out a cast iron skillet?
1016·6 months agoTry not to use soap if possible, it can get into the iron since it’s porous and become a part of the “seasoning”. Same goes for mortar and pestle care

I wish my baby would cast sleep on itself.
