I think it’s fine to come up with alternative theories if that supports reasonable doubt. If you can think of other ways the evidence could exist, there is doubt that it happened the way the prosecutor said.
Bringing in a knife from the outside does seem a bit dodgy though. Firstly just getting it into the court would be impossible today.
It’s legal and regulated. Seems to work fine. I don’t know anyone who wants to outlaw it.
I remember in the 90s when you had to buy CDs and DVDs (or VHS). It was awful. You couldn’t afford much so you had to be stingy in what you watched and listened to. At the time I remember dreaming of endless content options that I could try. Streaming is that dream. The fact that the shitty companies are making it worse and increasing prices doesn’t mean the streaming subscription model is inherently flawed.

Age of consent is 16 in Australia and many other western nations. Governments need to set an age to say what is too young, but whether that age is 16 or 18 is somewhat arbitrary. Some 16yos are very ready for sex and some 20yos aren’t. Different people develop at different rates. So any age you set will limit the freedom of some unfairly and not protect others who need it.

I find that now I listen to a much broader selection of music. If anyone recommends a band I’ll listen to their album. In the past I couldn’t afford to buy the albums of every band someone else liked, so I stayed in my lane (musically) with what I listened to.
