I might try swapping the speakers at some point. The screen is alright but its about comparable to the chromebook I use in the kitchen.

A quick search found this and I did similar myself a few years ago when something forced me to usr authy.

It started when they started including Amazon sponsored results in the menu search really. These days using apt occasionally will install a snap package instead of a deb. It doesn’t give people a good jumping on point and it teaches that linux is more difficult than it has to be.

5·2 years agoFirefox has Firefox Accounts which will do just the same. All those extensions are also available. You may find the odd extension is missing but there is usually a decent replacement about.

2·2 years agoI briefly used a chromebook with linux on at the start of last year as a sorta dumb terminal to my desktop until I could get something a bit better. The keyboard was one of the pros, despite all the flex.
On my main laptop I now bind caps lock to super and, since it has an ansi keyboard and I live in the UK, I bind the windows key to compose. It has changed my typing significantly for the better.

2·2 years agoThere are lots of station cats in the UK but Felix has long remained one of the most famous examples. I’m glad Bolt was also about for Felix’s later years. She was a lovely cat and I’m sure a lot of people will miss her.

2·2 years agoI have it happen for webview most times I use it. I ended up using Kiwi Browser instead because of it.




I love it on the surface. It sadly has major issues with scaling and the window controls not allowing you to drag it about (at least on Wayland).
