To me, “proud” is the wrong word. I didn’t do anything when it comes to founding the EU. So how can I be proud of something I didn’t do? “Grateful” is the better word in my opinion.

Yeah sending some troops from multiple european countries is a strong message indeed. I just think Trump won’t be impressed by that and opt for force anyways.

I know it’s a good first step. I just wanted to highlight, that the headline, although technically the truth, is a bit sensationalist. Also I don’t think Trump will be impressed by that. But I can see how sending a small team is also a strong indirect message to Trump.

I agree in a better world education should prevent most people from disinformation but with ai in the mix analysing info to detect fakes gets harder and harder. Trying to combat disinformation by explaining things takes too long. By the time we explained one thing 100 new fake news get published. Since I don’t have a solution my only thought was copying ai slop but with facts and fire it back into the internet. Make it scream from every side. Eventually social media is just ai slop.

Also what do we do as counter measure? Generate videos to promote EU and then throw that out there? How do we deal with that?

• China greift Taiwan an (USA macht nichts, sind ja in Grönland)
• Russland greift Baltikum an (USA macht nichts)
• China, Russland und USA gratulieren sich alle gegenseitig (zu ihren neuen Errungenschaften) und teilen Europa unter sich auf.
• Europa macht nichts und ist empört. Es hat sich vor verwirrung selbst verletzt.

Sure and then I want them to explain to the public why home office is forbidden now. And tell people that its very unfortunate but they aren’t allowed to get there information from sources outside of the country. Great the people will love this.

Just do it step by step. I left everything US this year and changing email accounts was definitely the most tedious. But in the end I took my time with it. Switching 3 accounts per day was alright. :) Just start with the most important accounts and change the others when you need them.

Whenever they say “… but I like Windows.” I’m like: Ah so you like CandyCrush ads on your homescreen. Got it. Yeah who doesn’t like to look at some ads first thing in the morning.

Minze mit Zimt ist auf jeden Fall allen Fenster 10 Verwender:innen zu empfehlen. Habe ich selbst seit 3 Jahren auf dem Rechner. Meine Güte geht der ab. Beschweren kann man sich da eher weniger.

In der Vorlesung mussten wir mit dem Wort Kellerspeicher (anstatt Stapel) klar kommen. Meine Augen haben sich davon bis heute nicht erholt.

Yeah if you’ve ever written something remotely US critical on Reddit you can be sure that they now about it. I wouldn’t want to try my luck. It’ll be interesting to look at the numbers towards the end of 2025.
