    I like the representation of how it’s shown ingame.

    I remember climbing up to the yellow switch and seeing the ‘next’ world being such an iconic thing for the first experience of SNES after the NES.

      it’s such a banger. Introduced my kiddo and nephews to it and at first they were like “oh, it’s 2d… is it only side scrolling wait you can FLY!?” they played it for hours and my kiddo went on to complete the first few worlds.

      that’s when I remembered how hard it is in parts if you don’t keep those skillz fresh lol

      same with ninja gaiden nes. oh fuck I’d forgotten how hard that thing is
