- Viper stopped appearing on the GL podcast because of that, a situation clarified in a Reddit comment
- Viper has a lawyer on it
- During this whole process, GL signed a whole new Dota 2 team
- GL knew Hera would leave
- They discussed a replacement and were in talks (May 2025)
- GL offered Viper a renewal of the contract but Viper would only agree if the money situation would be cleared
When they still hadn’t made progress in paying Viper, and he didn’t sign, they decided not to continue having an aoe2 team. Viper knew this was the likely outcome
