No, that’s not it. His skin is smoothed out in the meme and blemishes are missing. I was thinking maybe it was an image conversion issue. The one I found was a jpeg and the meme is a webp but then I looked at his mouth. Original is on the left, meme is on the right. The AI couldn’t figure out his mouth so it did… whatever this is.
