The Canadian government on Saturday moved to end a strike by Air Canada’s cabin crews and require binding arbitration to break their contract impasse, an action that the country’s largest carrier had sought but unionized flight attendants fiercely opposed.

I applaud the courage of the women and men of the Air Canada Component of CUPE to stand up for their right to strike for the right to be paid for the work that the company requires them to perform! The Prime Minister has said more than once, and vehemently, that he will protect workers. Do so, sir. Do so!
