Huh? It is actually viable in multiple competitive formats on Pokemon Showdown. It’s pretty tanky, learns Recover, hits decently with Surf and Ice Beam and can learn Toxic. It might not be the best Pokemon ever, but it’s definitely a good option even for a regular playthrough if you have the time to catch it and need a Water type because you did not pick Mudkip as a starter.

If I ever see it, I will try it. But I will probably forget about it before that happens…

Additionally to the original Alan Wake there was also American Nightmare. I think that game did not help convincing publishers that the next Alan Wake won’t be a flop.

I started Wrath of the Righteous in January and still haven’t finished it :/ But I’m over 160 hours in and close to the end.

I played some other games in between, but I’m kinda impressed you beat so many beasts of games.

Like a true patient gamer I didn’t play a single game from 2025.
