Rules:

  • All projects must be created during the hackathon period. Pre-existing code, templates, or libraries may be used, but the core idea and implementation must be developed during the event.

  • Participants may compete individually or in teams.

  • Teams may collaborate and use any programming languages, frameworks, or tools.

  • All submissions must be original work created by the participating team.

  • Projects must comply with applicable laws and should not contain offensive, harmful, or unethical content.

  • By submitting a project, participants grant the organizers permission to showcase the project for promotional or educational purposes.

 

Eligibility

  • The hackathon is open to developers, engineers, designers, students, and technology enthusiasts worldwide.

  • Participants must register through the official hackathon platform before the start of the event.

  • Participants may compete individually or as part of a team.

  • All participants must comply with the hackathon rules and code of conduct.

Project and Submission Requirements

  • Projects must be built during the hackathon timeframe.

  • Submissions must include:

    • Project title and description

    • Explanation of the problem and solution

    • Demo video (recommended 2–3 minutes)

    • Link to source code repository

    • Screenshots or visuals of the project

  • Projects must be functional prototypes demonstrating the core idea and implementation.

Prizes

Top projects will be recognized for their innovation, technical execution, and real-world impact.

Example prize categories may include:

  • 1st Place: Best overall project

  • 2nd Place: Outstanding technical execution

  • 3rd Place: Most innovative idea

  • Special Awards: Categories such as best use of AI, best developer tool, or community choice

Additional recognition and opportunities may be provided depending on sponsor involvement.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Innovation (30%) – Originality and creativity of the idea

  • Technical Implementation (30%) – Quality and complexity of the engineering work

  • Impact (20%) – Potential real-world usefulness or problem-solving ability

  • Design and Usability (10%) – User experience and accessibility

  • Presentation (10%) – Clarity and effectiveness of the demo and explanation

Judges will review all eligible submissions and select the winners based on the highest combined scores.
