First #ffconf yesterday with the team. We laughed, learnt and came out inspired. Thanks to @remysharp.com and the rest of the @ffconf.org team for organising. Hopefully we’ll be back next year! Now off to build some small useless projects!

I had an absolutely wonderful time at @ffconf.org in Brighton yesterday. I'm reminded to reflect on my purpose, direction, how I'm building things, how to critique & build, for communities, for networks, for people and relationships. #ffconf is my annual time to recharge and refocus, in community. 💕

I've seen too many talks about AI that are gushing praise, or doom and gloom. @tink.bsky.social gave an amazing balanced talk on the practical uses, and pitfalls of AI and accessibility. #ffconf

Following along with #ffconf today - thanks to their scholarship program, I attended in 2016 as a self-teaching stay-at-home parent, with a goal of being a developer 'someday'. To chat with others about the web, the industry, was an incredible opportunity and made me really feel it could happen.

I've had the best day at #ffconf

I've never been to a conference with talks that bring programming and tech into the real world! I'm 100% coming back next year.

Here are some no context highlights from the eclectic mix of talks.

#ffconf has cemented itself as my favourite conference. Thoroughly enjoyed today, thanks again to all who made it possible!

Attending @ffconf in Brighton on ffriday gave me LIFE. I feel energised by getting to hang out with so many lovely ffriends, and having made a ffew new ones. Such a ffantastic event, I hope it never ends :')

Thank you SO much to our speakers, to our volunteers, to all the delegates, to all our sponsors, to everyone who donated to our scholarship programme...thank you. I am slightly broken, emotionally fragile but my heart is full @ffconf #ffconf

As usual, I had a fantastic time at @ffconf - I genuinely feel so inspired and most importantly feeling confident. It is always a great way to end the year and look forward to what I can do next. Thank you @Julieanne and @rem gotta write that blog post ASAP.

As a web developer I couldn't have asked for anything more. #ffconf you not just talk about diversity and inclusivity you also put them in action. Every topic and speaker were unique and diverse. Thanks for making me a better developer. Hopefully I will make it to next one.
