They have those features coded but can’t implement because of infrastructure issues. This is the first time that I have seen Movim talked about other than being mentioned in lists. It also seems to have some barrier to entry, try explaining federation to anyone not in tech. I can’t run a community on that. At least people have heard of Matrix if I want to be decentralized. There is going to a 10 year gap of lost information when Discord goes away/becomes unusable. Forums last forever, I have a backup for one that nobody has used in 10 years, that information could never be lost.
