  • “Man up” isn’t always about bottling your feeling like the US internet says. More often it’s “stop complaining and just do it”. And someone has to do “it”. And it often leads to growth.

I’m sure telling people who are hesitant to open up about their feelings and want to express them more to “stop complaining and just do it” will definitely make them open up about their feelings. 🙄 Way to miss the point entirely.

Not the pink haired screaming “all men are evil and should pay”

I don’t think that caricature helps promote gender equality.

  • I am a feminist because I believe men and women should have equal rights. I think a lot of people fell for the propaganda that feminism is about women over men or something. The thing a lot of men fail to realize is that “the patriarchy” hurts them too. A lot of the things you see men complain about like being told to “man up” or not being able to express their feelings without being mocked are 100% a side effect of patriarchy.

  • In my head, people may use the term head canon for their own content to differentiate between things published and imagined or between things set in stone or not set in stone.

An example that comes to mind is the d&d setting Eberron. There was an event called the mourning which set things into motion. There is no canonical explanation about what caused it. The creator has said there will never be a canonical explanation because they want DMs to be able to be flexible with it in their stories. So, to me, whatever the creator believes happened would be considered head canon because he specifically said there will never be a canonical explanation. I haven’t seen the creator use the term head canon in this context, but it fits well I think.

  • and i read now im responsible on maintaining it, what does it mean? is it just finding and testing drivers? or system update? what is the easiest way to do it? and what i getting myself into?

Where did you see this? What was the context? I ask because you could say the same thing about any PC you own. It’s not like Microsoft is gonna answer your distress call if Windows breaks unless you’re paying for support.
