This is antidemocratic. All companies must have a union-majority council.
There’s another reason, tech often allows you to work remotely and without interaction with people which y’know, may or may not be transphobic.
Plus, science fields, arts, etc. tend to be much more welcoming to queer peeps. Awareness helps!
The thing is also that these transphobes manifest their binary idea of gender into discomfort with trans and nonbinary people, because it questions their narrow worldview.
And some other yet deal with internalised homo- and transphobia, mostly before coming out, or never doing so.
Oh, and another part is misinformed due to nillywilly picking the first social media stuff as a “source” (and algorithms often aim for polarising information, since it sells clicks), and not wanting to reach out to y’know, these trans people with respect, to try to understand their perspective.
What should also be included is how many people are exposed to it, tbh.
It should be a pedestrian mainwalk. Cars should be the sidelane.
Like a gift economy thing?
Fuck off, this should be illegal. NO to MEDIA MONOPOLIES!
Orban and Fico need to be ousted.
I’d prefer Sanchez’s politics
I feel like China and the EU should collaborate to supply Cuba. As well as all Latin America.
Live image and test?
do you mean I’d download a distro, put it on a USB, and then extract/open it in there, and test it out?
(and ofc, saving my data on my own desktop on an external hard disk, before committing to switch)?
Would it work for general usage too?
Within Linux I see ‘beginner’, ‘intermediate’ and ‘advanced’ users mentioned, but I’m not sure where I’d fall, or what those would roughly denote.
Like I’m familiar with what a terminal is and how it can be used for commands, I’m not like an old grandma not knowing what the big red X button does, I know not to delete system32 or to avoid sudo rm rf, but I’m not familiar with a shell, setting up an IP of your own, that stuff. I think this would label me as an average user for whom intermediate distros would be possible, but I’m not sure.
Re: the EndeavourOS, OpenSUSE Tumbleweed also has a nice installer, no?
Does it matter if it’s mainstream? We should use media that are worker-owned and not corporate, they will be much more likely to provide actual criticism, methinks.
Dumb question, but Samsung is Korean, not American, no?
The Jacobin, New International, are better sources anyways. Thanks for the filter btw!
Is it an idea to put it on Codeberg instead of Github?
This is a bad development for privacy and the fight against surveillance…
Bugger off Pen, you buy from Russians
Once more proof that social democratic and socialised policies work very well!

Fair point.
